Inline chlorine dioxide generation
Chlorine dioxide offers advantages that make it the ideal biocide in water treatment.
- Chlorine dioxide dissolves biofilms
- No formation of organic by-products
- Effective in a pH range of 4 to 10
- Easy monitoring of the process using redox potential
The video shows the technology being tested. Thanks to the unique, patented two-chamber technology, this reactor is capable of producing chlorine dioxide with an efficiency of 99.4%. The capacity of each reactor can be varied between 2 and 20 kg per hour.
The inline reactor is placed in the lined injection chamber and the produced chlorine dioxide is released directly into the water to be treated.
The system is registered within the EU as a biocidal product for the following areas:
PT2: Disinfectants and algaecides
Products for the disinfection of surfaces, fabrics, furnishings, and furniture not intended for direct contact with food or feed. Areas of application include swimming pools, aquariums, bathing water, and other water, air conditioning systems, as well as walls and floors in both private and public areas, industrial facilities, and other areas used for professional activities.
PT4: Food and feed sector
Products for the disinfection of facilities, containers, cutlery and dishes, surfaces and pipes used in connection with the production, transport, storage or consumption of food or feed (including drinking water) for humans and animals.
PT5: Drinking water
Products for the disinfection of drinking water for humans and animals.
PT11: Protective agent for liquids in cooling and process systems
Products for protecting water and other liquids in cooling and process systems against infestation by harmful organisms such as microbes, algae and mussels.
